Organizational Planning & Strategy

Across Canada, as well as internationally, Nordicity has been actively engaged in strategic organizational and sector studies, feasibility assessments, program evaluations, industry profiles, digital strategies, and business plans for clients in the arts, cultural and heritage sectors. We apply our expertise to help governments make better policy, industry sectors communicate value, and the private sector make critical investment decisions. In part because the opportunities presented by digital technology applications, we help organizations innovate and collaborate to multiply their impacts.

We employ our substantial familiarity with cultural sector operational and business processes to engage with arts and culture institutions to drive innovative solutions – typically building new partnership across audiences, artists, producers, and managers. We involve economic and social development agencies at the appropriate jurisdictional levels to drive unique outcomes and sustainable partnerships for organizations and institutions both large and small. Nordicity develops operational marketing, and financial plans that focus on achieving audience engagement and revenue goals.

Using existing industry and regional/local performance data, we develop and implement performance indicators – providing accurate measurements of the unique impact on the community by the organization, funding program or other form of investment.
