Nordicity, in partnership with RC Strategies+PERC and Lord Cultural Services, has been commissioned by the City of Richmond to develop a detailed Strategic Business Plan for the Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site. Nordicity will work closely with the City and its relevant partners and stakeholders to produce a future-facing, cost-effective and sustainable Business Plan.
The multi-year Strategic Business Plan will include: an overview of the facility, identification of key business activities, a market analysis, an operating plan, and a financial analysis. From this plan will flow potential opportunities for expanding activity and revenue enhancement based on a realistic assessment of feasibility, stakeholder buy-in, and returns on culture-led tourism. Importantly, key success factors will be identified to support the programming plan over the next five years.
To achieve these objectives, the Project Team will combine rich local insight with extensive global experience in research, market and financial analysis, as well as strategic development of national historic sites in both Canada and abroad.
