Patrick is a Canadian engineer with 35 years of practical experience in the telecommunications industry on a global scale. He is entrepreneurial, very experienced in managing large teams, extremely adept at technology and has a vast international portfolio. He is a highly motivated problem solver and result oriented person with superior communications skills. He is recognized as a senior expert in all forms of telecom technologies, having worked as a design engineer, an applications and systems engineer, a business development executive and a successful business entrepreneur. His core competences include planning, design and deployment of highly complex and reliable telecommunications networks. He is a proven technical expert, having served on several industry panels for the establishment of Canadian telecommunications standards and as Executive Vice-President of the Radio Advisory Board of Canada. He has also trained and coached many companies and governments in over 30 countries in project management knowledge and best practices.
In the past 15 years, Patrick coached many governments and private companies in Africa, South America and the Middle East in matters of new telecommunications environments and the regulatory challenges they present. More recently, Patrick lectures in cybersecurity threats and solutions to counter attacks and reduce vulnerabilities in telecom networks and services. He has created cybersecurity training programs and laboratories and has performed security risks analysis of 3G networks for wireless service providers.
