Nordicity Conducting Impact Assessment of Arts and Culture for the Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO)

Nordicity, alongside Sproing Creative, has been commissioned by the Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) to conduct an impact assessment of arts and culture for Greater Vernon, BC. The assessment is investigating both economic and social value.

The project aims to inspire collaboration, appreciation, and increased recognition of the value of the arts and cultural sector in Greater Vernon. The impact assessment will allow RDNO to better understand the impact of the regional arts and culture sector its value and unique strengths. Additionally, the project will explore how the sector can be further marketed and grown strategically for the benefit of the community.

Through a five-phased mixed methods approach, the Nordicity Project Team is conducting research, community engagement, data collection and analysis. Marketing partner Sproing Creative will then develop a communications plan and brand strategy for Greater Vernon’s cultural brand.
