
Darren is an Associate at Nordicity, offering a wide range of experience and expertise in policy and regulation, research, analysis, communications, and stakeholder engagement. He has covered a broad range of sectors and issues, including arts and culture, energy, Indigenous relations, infrastructure, foreign affairs, environment, technology, trade, and business.
Prior to Nordicity, Darren has worked for the public, private and non-governmental sectors in Canada and abroad (Cambodia and China). He has worked with the Government of Canada (Natural Resources Canada, Global Affairs Canada, Public Works and Government Services Canada and Employment and Social Development Canada), the Public Policy Forum, TD Bank Financial Group, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia, and the U.S. State Department.
Currently, Darren is a Schwarzman Fellow with the Kissinger Institute and the Canada Institute at the Wilson Center in Washington D.C., and a Research Fellow with the Centre for Inclusive Digital Economy at the Asian Vision Institute in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Darren is a TD Scholar for Community Leadership (2012), and a Schwarzman Scholar (2019).
