Anoushka Chandarana

Anoushka is a Graduate student at the School of Public Policy and Global Affairs at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver.

Originally from India, she combines her background in sociology with her experience in social policy to join Nordicity's team as a Research Intern.

As a part of her academic coursework, Anoushka has focused on the intersection of international development and gender equality, particularly in the areas of refugee rights, education policy and public health. She looks forward to utilizing her quantitative and qualitative research skills, as well as her technical policy knowledge here at Nordicity.

Prior to Nordicity, Anoushka was responsible for several community outreach programs, especially in the education sector. She also has experience working in event management and program development.

  • B.A., Sociology, St. Xavier's College, Mumbai, India.
