Daniela is an Analyst at Nordicity’s Vancouver office with a background in Sociology, Economics, and Gender Studies.
With experience in non-profit work, grant applications and reporting, community outreach, and workshop facilitation, Daniela brings a broad set of skills to Nordicity. She is a strong researcher with experience in policy analysis and developing policy recommendations, and has in-depth knowledge of labour and immigration in Canada, and industry-specific insights into the food sector.
Prior to joining Nordicity, Daniela supported and advocated for migrant workers' rights as a settlement worker in Vancouver. She is also a part of a sustainable farming initiative in her hometown in Colombia, specializing in commercialization and food sovereignty.
