Mario is a Senior Consultant and Digital Strategist at Nordicity’s Toronto office. In addition to his work on projects, Mario will help develop Nordicity clients’ digital transformations by incorporating his digital strategist experience to create omnichannel experiences across multiple platforms and coach clients on how to execute their online marketing effectively.
Mario has eight years of experience in digital marketing, most recently at Thrive Digital as a senior manager, heading the digital strategies for clients such as the Vancouver Art Gallery, Uber, Meetup, Go Fund Me, Arc’teryx and others. He oversaw the implementation of data-driven marketing strategies by project managing multi-million-dollar performance tactics and optimizations. He also spearheaded the new creative division of the company, which worked with graphic designers and animators to create engaging ads for clients.
Mario holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business, specializing in Arts, Media & Entertainment Management, and a B.A. in Film Studies & Psychology from the University of British Columbia. Mario is Peruvian and fluent in Spanish and English.
