Research, analysis and planning

Owen is a Senior Analyst at Nordicity supporting a wide range of projects with research, data management, analysis and reporting. 

They have a strong background in research relating to the creative industries, as well as specific interest and expertise in work relating to diversity, equity and inclusion, particularly relating to gender, sexuality and disability.

Prior to working at Nordicity, Owen was a Research Consultant at Ontario Creates studying and reporting on statistics and trends impacting Ontario’s cultural industries, as well as working with stakeholders on key sector research. They have also previously worked at the Ontario Human Rights Commission and the Motherisk Commission.

Education

  • B.A. in Theatre from York University
  • M.A. in Critical Disability Studies from York University
