ICT Products’ Pricing, Technology Strategy, Operations Management, Economic Analysis and Auctions & Spectrum Strategy

Tariq is a strong strategic leader with 16+ years in engineering operations, RF and wireline networks, R&D, product development, pricing and commercial strategy, technology strategy and combinatorial clock auctions.

Tariq specializes in building technology strategy roadmaps, commercial offerings and GTM, design & implementation of ICT infrastructure & spectrum utilization and crafting economic analysis and pricing.

Before joining Nordicity in 2020, he held senior technology roles with Bell Canada Enterprises (BCE Inc.), Rogers Communications Inc, Telus Communications Inc, Techinsights and Samsung Networks. In those positions, he led project teams in introducing new services and products, designing, implementing and deploying the next generation of wireless and wireline networks and crafting commercial strategy and pricing for products and services.

He has extensive experience in regulatory and policy frameworks, economic studies, service cost modelling, developing economic models, designing costing methodologies, and determining wholesale pricing (including tariff design), in the telecom industry.
