Nikitha Gopal is a Senior Consultant at Nordicity. She is a talented policy professional and researcher with a background in public policy, social justice, and international development. Nikitha has diverse and global experience leading multi-stakeholder research projects in India, Canada and the US. Also, as a woman of colour, Nikitha is passionate about and experienced in issues of diversity, equity and inclusion.

Prior to working with Nordicity, Nikitha worked with SATTVA Consulting, conducting research and writing a series of articles on various Indian development topics including poverty, gender equity, sustainable development and social enterprise. At the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office of International Affairs, she worked on the implementation and measurement of progress of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the City of L.A. She also worked alongside the WAITT Foundation to research and publish a report on the Blue Economy in Pacific Small Island Development States (SIDS) and as a Researcher for the Southern California HIV/AIDS Policy Research Center. Nikitha specializes in quantitative and qualitative research analysis, strategy development and stakeholder engagement.
