Sharp analysis, clear strategy, and just enough humour along the way to remind us we’re all human.

An analytical thinker with a knack for making complexity make sense, Gaeby brings clarity, strategy, and a human touch to every project.

Gaeby works with governments, libraries, museums, sector networks, and cultural organizations across Canada. Curious by nature, she thrives on contributing to a wide range of projects, often focusing on strategic planning, governance, service design, and impact assessment.

She holds an MA in Literatures of Modernity from Toronto Metropolitan University and a BA (Hons) in English and Contemporary Studies from the University of King’s College. She has also completed training in board governance, data analytics, fundraising, and human-centred design.

Before joining Nordicity, Gaeby worked at The Writers’ Union of Canada, leading communications, fund development, and program design. She has also worked on projects and events across the cultural sector, from publishing and digital scholarship to literary festivals and cultural prizes.

For Gaeby, the work is about relationships – with clients, interest-holders, and communities – and the shared ideas that emerge when people come together. She is energized by sparking cross-pollination, building alignment, and helping organizations evolve in ways that reflect both community voices and practical realities.

Her passion for arts and culture goes back to early childhood – her parents tell an embarrassing story of her attempting to sketch nudes in an Athens art museum at age four. She’s glad to have found a place where her strengths in strategy, analysis, and facilitation serve the sector far better than her drawing skills ever could.
