Megan Lynch

I blend my passion for art with my love of data-informed strategies to help paint a more sustainable future for the creative sector.
Megan is fluent in the languages of business and creativity – and she bridges the gap to deliver successful outcomes for clients.
Megan leads Nordicity’s digital practice, helping clients develop solutions through strategic planning and the effective use of digital tools. She is also an experienced project manager, facilitator, cultural planner, and creative strategist.
She collaborates with organizations across the arts and creative industries, with a particular focus on her three “Ms”: museums, music, and municipalities. Her work most often centres on leading the development of economic and social impact assessments, cultural plans, and digital and strategic planning initiatives.
Prior to joining Nordicity, Megan worked in government, at both the federal and municipal level, as well as in art museums. Her past experiences – including at the Embassy of Canada in Washington, DC, the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery, and the Art Gallery of Ontario – have given her a strong public policy background as well as experience in the visual arts.
She holds a BA in Art History from the University of Alberta, an MA in Art History from York University, and an MBA with Arts, Media & Entertainment specialization from the Schulich School of Business.
Megan has a particular passion for art and museums, and loves that she can work in a place that helps build a more inclusive, sustainable, and resilient arts community.
