Nordicity
The British Council (BC) asked Nordicity to conduct a research project examining the nature and potential of Creative Cities in Pakistan. Building on previous BC work, the project had three parts.
Lights, Camera, Access! engaged Nordicity to develop an up-to-date profile would provide the film and television industry with a current snapshot of the issues facing persons with disabilities in the industry.
Nordicity was engaged by Arts Council England to evaluate its Quality Metrics Framework. The objective of the project was to gauge the perceptions of and willingness to adopt the framework among arts and cultural organisations in ACE’s portfolio.
Nordicity, alongside Patricia Huntsman (prime contractor), were commissioned to develop the City of Maple Ridge’s Cultural Plan Update 2017-2027 - a framework for the City’s future vision, policy and action plan for arts and culture for the next ten years.
Nordicity was engaged by Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association to conduct an economic impact assessment of the Canadian wireless industry, of which the resulting report was intented to support the client’s goverment relations efforts.
This study provides an up to date Economic Profile of the Animation/VFX industry and compares results with past reports in order to ascertain how the industry is growing, particularly as a vital source of employment and creative innovation in Ontario.
OMDC asked Nordicity to prepare a study regarding the state of content distribution. The report details how content is being distributed, across the various cultural media industries supported by OMDC.
The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) commissioned Nordicity to prepare an update to its biennial analysis of public funding for public service broadcasters (PSBs) and culture in Canada and 17 other Western countries.
