Research, data analytics, and administration 

Hong Yoong is currently a senior analyst at Nordicity, who supports the organization with in-depth research, critical analysis, and data interpolation.  

With his education at Schulich School of Business and past experience in academia, Hong brings a diverse set of skills ranging from data analysis to generating reports. Hong also has a strong understanding of the Canadian media landscape, particularly on video games development, esports, and film and TV production.  

Prior to Nordicity, Hong’s previous experience was as an academic in Classical studies and taught the Latin language and Classical mythology to undergraduates students. His primary research focus was on the poet Ovid, but he has also worked on film and TV analysis, critical and literary theories, and archaeology of Ancient Rome.
