The best projects feel like adventures – full of creativity, challenge, and the thrill of figuring things out.

From designing a venture fund model to capturing the lifecycle impact of unconventional virtual businesses, Lola brings clarity to the numbers that demonstrate compelling ROI – and drives big ideas forward.

A key member of Nordicity’s economics and quantitative research team, Lola leads the technology and innovation practice. She thrives on complex engagements and all things futuristic. Her portfolio includes high-profile clients such as MaRS Discovery District, the Ontario Centre of Innovation, and TikTok. Her experience ranges from venture impact measurement for accelerators and innovation centres to creative industry studies on VFX and video games trends.

Prior to Nordicity, Lola worked for an early-stage VC fund focused on technology, media, and telecommunications, as well as a media advisory firm in Beijing. She holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business, an MA in Curating from University of the Arts London, and a BA in Art and Design from the University of Leeds.

Beyond consulting, Lola channels her entrepreneurial spirit into every corner of life – from collaborating with a director friend on film-funding applications, to designing jewellery for a friend sourcing gems from Sri Lanka and Vietnam, to discovering underground bands formed by tech founders. On occasion, you’ll find her binge-playing Red Dead Redemption or Genshin Impact – not to level up, but to loot, forage, and hunt.
