Natalia Holeksa

I traded the spotlight for spreadsheets – now I help Canada’s cultural sector plot its next act.
Drawing on her background in live performance, creative industries, and applied research, Natalia brings her distinctive blend of cultural insight, analytical rigour, and project leadership to Nordicity.
Natalia is a project manager with a passion for all things arts, culture, and creative sectors – and she’s not afraid to get into the details to help big ideas come to life. Whether planning a cultural space, diving into digital innovation, or mapping out business strategies, she brings curiosity, creativity, and clear-eyed analysis to every project. You’ll often find her guiding clients through strategic decisions, feasibility studies, and agile transformations – making the complex feel doable (and even fun).
A proud graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University’s third-ever Creative Industries cohort, Natalia holds a BA with a Film & Media Business Specialization along with a Data Analysis Certification from BrainStation. She’s currently leveling up with a Project Management Certificate from the University of Toronto and working toward her PMP designation – because why stop when there’s always more to learn?
Before joining Nordicity in 2019, Natalia’s career path zigzagged through theatre stages, commercial sets, modelling gigs, production crews, and even a stint in retail banking. That eclectic background? It’s her secret weapon.
After years of navigating the cultural sector from centre stage, Natalia became fascinated by what happens behind the curtain – budgets, planning, strategy, and the magic of turning creative visions into real-world impact. She’s deeply committed to helping build a Canadian cultural sector that’s not just vibrant, but sustainable – creating jobs, experiences, and opportunities that reach Canadians from coast to coast to coast. A lifelong learner with a love for both the arts and analytics, she brings heart and insight to every project she touches.
