Nordicity was engaged by the Association of Canadian Publishers (ACP), in association with Castledale, to undertake a profile and economic impact study of the Canadian-owned book publishing industry.
As a continuation of prior work done for past DM@X conferences, Nordicity conducted a multi-stage study on the trends in advertising, subscription and other consumer expenditures on Canadian content and on the distribution of content in Canada.
On Screen Manitoba (OSM) engaged Nordicity to produce an update of the New Media Census (2012), a profile and EIA of (and strategy for) Manitoba’s interactive media industry.
Ireland’s Department of Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural, and Gaeltacht Affairs engaged Nordicity and Olsberg-SPI (prime contractor) to prepare the first-ever comprehensive study of the audiovisual sector’s economic contribution.
Nordicity was engaged by ESAC (for the third time) to create an economic impact assessment of the games industry in Canada (in 2017).
Nordicity was commissioned by the ESAC to conduct a profile of the games industry in Canada, an economic impact analysis of the games industry on the Canadian economy, an assessment of the impact of tax credits, and an evaluation of the perceptions of the ESAC in the Canadian games industry.
