My favourite part of this work is that no day is the same – there’s always a puzzle to solve and new ways to support the creative sector.

A curious and strategic thinker, Christiana is driven to strengthen the cultural and creative industries through insight, analysis, and collaboration.

Christiana has a BA (Hons) in Art History, History, and Books, Media, & Culture from the University of Toronto. Her academic focus on the arts and creative industries has certainly coloured her career path (pun intended). Her introduction to the film and television industry came through a postgraduate program in film and television business at Centennial College. There, she developed a deep respect for creative workers and realized her greatest impact would come from supporting the industry through research and analysis – a realization that ultimately led her to Nordicity.

At Nordicity, Christiana focuses primarily on the film and television sector, as well as the wider creative and cultural industries. She’s particularly interested in emerging trends shaping the AV sector and how they impact policy, business models, workforces, and audiences. Christiana has worn many hats, with her work spanning research, analysis, writing, communications, interest-holder engagement, and internal initiatives to improve efficiency.

Christiana is driven by a genuine curiosity and belief that the cultural and creative industries are central to what makes life worth living. She is motivated by the idea that her work can inspire even the smallest change. She also loves investigating, digging for answers, and gathering intel – professionally, of course.
