People love what other people are passionate about.

JP shapes creative industry policy and growth through evidence, experience, collaboration, and passion.

JP specializes in creative industry strategy and policy – including for video games, film and TV, and interactive and immersive digital media – combining market intelligence, economic impact analysis, and interest-holder engagement. He supports regulators, funding bodies, industry associations, and cultural organizations in defining and delivering their next chapters – all with his signature calm and composure.

Before moving to Canada and joining Nordicity in 2017, JP began his career in Paris in digital production and feature film financing. Today, he leads multi-jurisdictional studies that translate evidence into action. Fully bilingual (French and English), JP is known for clear, decision-ready, and design-forward deliverables. He holds an MSc in Management (Media, Digital, and Entertainment) from ESSEC Business School.

His philosophy is simple: Talent flourishes when ecosystems are welcoming, well-designed, and accountable. Evidence should clear paths, not complicate them. As a creative himself, JP aims to transform the creative ecosystem, turning intention into infrastructure: policies, programs, and partnerships that let good ideas find their audiences.

Beyond consulting, JP supports emerging creatives, especially career-pivoters, because he believes the first step to becoming an artist is having the confidence to call yourself one – whatever your identity or track record. A committed advocate for Francophone and Francophile media, JP also pushes for the professionalization of this underfunded yet vibrant community and serves on the programming committee of Le Labo, an artist-run centre in Toronto.

Through his work at Nordicity and in the community, he focuses on putting the right frameworks in place so compelling stories can reach audiences at home and around the world.
