I’m most inspired when I can help turn big ideas into grounded, people-focused solutions that make life better for others.

A systems thinker with a global outlook and a drive to create positive change, Nikitha helps clients navigate complex challenges, design thoughtful strategies, and build programs that make a meaningful impact in communities.

With experience leading research, strategy, and engagement projects across Canada, the US, and India, Nikitha’s work spans public policy, international development, and the cultural sector. Her work has supported initiatives in areas such as cultural and creative industries, education, social development, and economic resilience – always with a focus on real-world impact and long-term sustainability.

Before joining Nordicity, Nikitha worked with organizations including SATTVA Consulting, the City of Los Angeles, and the Southern California HIV/AIDS Policy Research Center, contributing to projects aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, economic development, and community well-being. In Canada, she has collaborated with the Department of Canadian Heritage, City of Yellowknife, ABC Life Literacy, and others on policy development, program evaluation, and community engagement.

She holds an MPP from UCLA’s Luskin School of Public Affairs (alongside a Certificate in Global Public Affairs), and a BA in Sociology and Economics from the University of British Columbia. She has also completed professional certifications in Project Management through the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Changemakers Program by Metamorphosis.

Nikitha is driven by a deep commitment to building systems that work better and for more people. She is particularly energized by opportunities to connect policy with lived experience, and to amplify historically marginalized voices in shaping public programs and institutions. Whether working on local or global issues, she brings curiosity, empathy, and a commitment to justice to everything she does.
