The Canada Council for the Arts commissioned Nordicity to update the 2016 Arts in the Digital Age report. This 2020 edition aims to provide an overview of current policies and initiatives on the adoption of digital technologies by arts organizations, provide information on innovative uses of new technologies, and identify issues and gaps specific to digital transformation in Canada’s arts sector.
As part of the Business / Arts’ ARTS series, Nordicity presented a webinar on how the arts can transform for a digital world.
Nordicity conducted a multi-stage study on the trends in advertising, subscription and other consumer expenditures on Canadian content and on the distribution of content in Canada.
Nordicity presented their findings from “The Digital Media Universe in Canada:Measuring the Revenues, the Audiences, and the Future Prospects” report at the Digital Media at the Crossroads 2020 conference on February 7th, 2020.
This report summarizes the needs, gaps and opportunities, as well as the joint-opportunities, that came out of Toronto Arts of Tomorrow Initiative (TATI).
