Supporting Sustainable Economic Development in Qualicum Beach

The Town of Qualicum Beach has enlisted us and ClimateDoor to develop a Sustainable Economic Development Strategy (EDS) that supports long-term resilience, diversification, and community well-being.

Our team will assess existing economic conditions and industry strengths, identify gaps and emerging opportunities, and align economic development objectives with sustainability, climate resilience, and community priorities. The project will involve cross-sectoral analysis – including retail and tourism gap analysis – engagement, and policy alignment to produce a practical strategic framework. Our team will also develop an implementation roadmap with realistic steps to building economic development capacity and support both near-term economic opportunities and long-term sustainable growth.
